Stimulus passes 244-188 with ALL Republicans voting no!

Exce-fucking-lent! Finally some stones emerge!

For better or (probably) worse, this is totally owned by the Dems now.

12 Dems also voted no...doesn't say much for Pelosi's power of persuasion!

This should be some party after the stimulus vote...

Washington Post has the official count...all 177 Republicans vote no with 11 Dems also voting no.

Pelosi:
"He said he wanted action, bold and swift, and that is exactly what we are doing," Pelosi told reporters before the vote.

And it's all yours baby!

    Stimulus bill moves us closer to nationalized health care and rationing

    The House of Representatives approved an $819 billion economic stimulus package Wednesday. The party line vote was a blow to Barack Obama's alleged desire for bipartisanship. All the Republicans and 11 democrats voted against the bill. One thing in the bill that went mostly unnoticed was a new bureaucracy called the Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research.

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll - Rasmussen Reports™ Daily Presidential Tracking Poll Friday, March 19, 2010 The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 23% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21. That matches the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President (see trends). Each time the President leads a big push for his health care plan, his job approval ratings suffer. For Members of Congress, the impact may be more tangible. Just 34% say they’re more likely to vote for someone who supports this legislation. Fifty-percent (50%) are less likely to vote for a Member of Congress who supports the health care reform plan proposed by the President and Congressional Democrats.
