Google has decided they are with Obama

So they are shutting down any blogs that have anti-Obama messages. Lets see what happens. Obama is a flip-flopper. Obama was against for the DC gun ban before he was for it. Obama doesn't have the experience. From Newsbusters; Google Shuts Down Anti-Obama Sites on its Blogger Platform Photo of Warner Todd Huston. By Warner Todd Huston | June 29, 2008 - 15:22 ET It looks like Google has officially joined the Barack Obama campaign and decided that its contribution would be to shut down any blog on the Google owned Blogspot.com blogging system that has an anti-Obama message. Yes, it sure seems that Google has begun to go through its many thousands of blogs to lock out the owners of anti-Obama blogs so that the noObama message is effectively squelched. Thus far, Google has terminated the access by blog owners to 7 such sites and the list may be growing. Boy, it must be nice for Barack Obama to have an ally powerful enough to silence his opponents like that! It isn't just conserv

WTF ?

Hysterical. State's sample license plate: What the ...? By Dan Kane, Staff Writer Last year, state officials notified nearly 10,000 holders of license plates with the letter combination "WTF" that they could get a replacement at no charge after officials learned that the combination is a common acronym in text messaging for a vulgar phrase, "What the ..." But while tracking down the errant plates, no one at the Division of Motor Vehicles checked their own Web site. "WTF-5505" is shown as a sample of a personalized plate. "I can't believe it," DMV Commissioner Bill Gore said Monday when alerted to the situation. "Obviously, I didn't know it was there." Other DMV officials indicated they noticed the plate last week, several days after The News & Observer first reported on the problems with the WTF plates. The DMV is trying to remove the plate from the Web site and hopes to have it replaced in a day or so. WTF was the first

Obama now supports FISA bill

Obama, doing what he does so well which is flip-flopping on issues, now supports the FISA bill which is angering those on the left. I guess he realized that he might actually become president and needed to arm himself with more tools to fight terrorists besides harsh language. It is pretty stunning how he can just change postions like the wind. However the media is beginning to take notice, how could they not when the number is up to about 25 flip-flops.

25 Obama flip-flops

A collection of the saviors flip-flops from Weapons of Mass Discussion , like that blog name.

Obama flip-flopping like a man possessed

Bonnie Erbe from US News , no fan of GWB; ..... From where I sit, flip-flopping is an unbeatable addiction for Obama. For McCain, by comparison, it's an occasional foible. The flip-flops preoccupying them right now are on acceptance of public financing for Obama and on offshore oil drilling for McCain. McCain's policy change makes sense given changed circumstances. Obama's is based purely on greed. McCain opposed offshore oil drilling before but now says it should be pursued off the Florida coast. I don't support his new position. America should be promoting alternative energy sources, not drilling for more oil. But given the run-up in oil prices, one can understand McCain's change of heart. Obama's flip-flop, on the other hand, is purely about self-interest. He promised to accept public financing before he knew he could raise more money from donors. Now that he can raise twice as much from donors as Uncle Sam would give him if he forswore private donations, of

All quiet in the "All Quiet On The Western Front" forum

Since 1MrJohn and StaticFinn (former moderators at my forums) have effectively shutdown the political forum I opened up over at my Crazy Water Community I have decided that if they are not going be active members of the forum that they should not have access to read that forum. So I have removed their access to it. I am sure this will just ruin their year. It seems my political positions have so insulted they delicate sensibilities that they just cannot bring themselves to post and discuss topics with me anymore so they have gathered up their toys and run home. Bye bye!

Will Smith is a great actor, he should stick to that.

Will Smith on the Today Show becomes the latest celebrity to be proud of being an American since Obama got the nomination; WILL SMITH: You know I just, I just came back from Moscow, Berlin, London and Paris and it's the first, I've been there quite a few times in the past five to 10 years. And it just hasn't been a good thing to be American. And this is the first time, since Barack has gotten the nomination, that it, it was a good thing.

WSJ: Saudi's laughing all the way to the bank...

WSJ: Anyone wondering why U.S. energy policy is so dysfunctional need only review Congress's recent antics. Members have debated ideas ranging from suing OPEC to the Senate's carbon tax-and-regulation monstrosity, to a windfall profits tax on oil companies, to new punishments for "price gouging" – everything except expanding domestic energy supplies. Amid $135 oil, it ought to be an easy, bipartisan victory to lift the political restrictions on energy exploration and production. Record-high fuel costs are hitting consumers and business like a huge tax increase. Yet the U.S. remains one of the only countries in the world that chooses as a matter of policy to lock up its natural resources. The Chinese think we're insane and self-destructive, while the Saudis laugh all the way to the bank.
