Party of Obstruction, of course they rejected it!

So Sen. Bill Frist offered the Obstructionist Party a compromise on ending the filibustering of President Bush's judicial nominees. From what I read, and I am by no means a political genius, it was a fair compromise that would put restrictions on both sides and not give anyone an advantage. And most importantly it would have given all of the nominees what the Constitution calls for, and up-or-down vote on the floor of the Senate. That is exactly what the Obstructionists don't want happening because they know they would be confirmed with 51 votes.

So I'll give you 3 guesses what the obstructionists said, and the first two guess don't count. Give up? They said NO. Senate minority leader Harry Reid said the offer was like a "big fat wet kiss to the far right." Alright, well I don't know what the hell that is suppose to mean but Harry Reid & wet kisses can't be good.
