Dems now upset about needing 60 votes...

When the Republicans were in the majority the Dems would routinely use the 60 votes needed to block votes, on judges especially. Now in the majority the Dems are suddenly upset about this pesky 60 vote requirement;
Republicans complained that the whole episode was a charade because the Democrats who were complaining about having to come up with 60 votes on contentious issues used the same tactics themselves when they were the minority party.

Reid's hypocrisy in action when discussing the reason for this publicity stunt;
“Because it will focus attention on the obstructionism of the Republicans.”

That pesky 60 vote requirement again...

Obama spokesperson confirms NY Post article

Well, it sure sounds like she did ; In the New York Post, conservative Iranian-born columnist Amir Taheri quoted Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari as saying the Democrat made the demand when he visited Baghdad in July, while publicly demanding an early withdrawal. “He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington,” Zebari said in an interview, according to Taheri. “However, as an Iraqi, I prefer to have a security agreement that regulates the activities of foreign troops, rather than keeping the matter open,” Zebari reportedly said. … Obama’s national security spokeswoman Wendy Morigi said Taheri’s article bore “as much resemblance to the truth as a McCain campaign commercial.” In fact, Obama had told the Iraqis that they should not rush through a “Strategic Framework Agreement” governing the future of US forces until after President George W. What a load of crap!

Ok...for starters its called wolf control . The killing of wolves either via the air or the more traditional ways saves moose and caribou which is the intent. And also Alaskans rely on deer, moose, caribou and other wildlife for food . These dumb asses would rather have you believe that Palin is hanging out the side of the helicopter screaming in hysterical joy while she slaughters these poor defenseless wolves.
