Hillary won't go because Sarah will be there...
Iran rally gets complicated
Hillary's withdrawal
from an anti-Iran rally in New York, organized by Jewish groups, has
put the organizers -- who were aiming for a non-partisan, bi-partisan,
event -- in a tough spot, a person familiar with the talks now says.Sarah Palin's appearance there -- part of a push to shore up her
national security credentials, and to reassure Jewish voters about her
-- may now be in doubt. There's a "major push to disinvite Palin, if Obama/Biden don't attend," the source says.
Meanwhile, McCain-Palin puts pressure on the Democrats to attend.
"Governor Palin believes that the danger of a nuclear Iran is greater
than party or politics. She hopes that all parties can rally together
in opposition to this grave threat," says spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt.
