Well, it sure sounds like she did ; In the New York Post, conservative Iranian-born columnist Amir Taheri quoted Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari as saying the Democrat made the demand when he visited Baghdad in July, while publicly demanding an early withdrawal. “He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington,” Zebari said in an interview, according to Taheri. “However, as an Iraqi, I prefer to have a security agreement that regulates the activities of foreign troops, rather than keeping the matter open,” Zebari reportedly said. … Obama’s national security spokeswoman Wendy Morigi said Taheri’s article bore “as much resemblance to the truth as a McCain campaign commercial.” In fact, Obama had told the Iraqis that they should not rush through a “Strategic Framework Agreement” governing the future of US forces until after President George W. Bush leaves office, she said...
Yeah, the teabaggers, the birthers and the "Obama is Hitler" crowd will all march into Washington and fill about one tenth of the Mall! :D
ReplyDelete"A political uprising like never seen before"... Man you're so far gone it's not even funny.
Really...all polls show Obama plummeting in performance approval and policies...so who's the one that's "so far gone?"
ReplyDeleteI ain't talking about filling the mall you silly man...
Don't think for a moment many voters won't remember the actions and speech of the self-identifying more wise, more patriotic, more "Christian" of the two main parties.
ReplyDeleteIndependents also will have their say.
Ten million more Americans voted in this administration and they will be voting in 2010.
You're right, independents will have their say, their saying things right now, like what the f*ck! This isn't what I voted for...In case you haven't noticed, and it sounds like you haven't, he is losing independents rapidly...and his job approval is the lowest of any post-Truman president except Clinton, even Bush's approval was higher at this point than Dear Leader's approval is...how's that hope and change working out for you?
ReplyDeleteYou're just fixated with Barack Obama aren't you? Your previous talk of "Bush Derangement Syndrome" is growing more ludicrously hypocritical by the hour. You just keep on repeating the same hoary "How's that hope and change working out for you" catchphrases over and over. Hell, you're more excited about Obama and obsess about him more than most people who voted for him, I bet.
ReplyDeleteObama is not the issue, the issue America's expensive, inefficient, scam of a "healthcare system". It's way more expensive than in single-payer system countries yet millions people are without any sort of health insurance and millions more are denied care because of, say, pre-existing conditions. It's an absolute horror.
The Republicans are so lathered about the issue because if the Democrats manage to pull together a "socialistic" healthcare system that provides a measure of free health care for all, they will be absolutely fucked and the last itty bitty remnants of their credibility will be totally crushed. As they deserve to be. So, it's pull-all-the-stops "death panel" craziness to the hilt!
ReplyDeleteIn other words, Republicans as usual are both afraid themselves and ratcheting up fear among the citizenry for their own (=the insurance industry's) rapacious ends. Well the Republicans and the Blue Dog Democrats (a group established by Rahm Emanuel, so don't get too excited about them now, ya hear?).
Yes...I love watching him fail
ReplyDeleteIt never ceases to amaze me how childish and petty adult people can be about such serious things.
ReplyDeleteExactly right and eliminating private insurance, which is its intent and what will happen if this bill is passed, will result in rationing of care, poorer quality health care, sky rockecting costs which will be paid for with higher taxes. True reform is not creating a government run system which has been proven not to work by RomneyCare, Canada's system is imploding, England's system is cutting back services to save money. Wherever its tried it fails so why does Obama want to implement it here? I think that is obvious...and its got nothing to do with providing health care. So when protesters are called, nazis, teabaggers, angry mobs, brown shirts, KKK, political terrorists, evil mongers and so on, that tends to piss people off. I guess its ok to protest against Republicans/Conservatives but not the other way...
